Pandemic Peep Show Art Book is a radiant celebration and commemoration that illuminates the unstoppable ferocity and resourcefulness of exotic dancers during the global pandemic and beyond. It contains original photos, quotes by performers, and shows the work strippers do, from DIY stages to ring lights, green screens, prep rituals, and intimate scrolling-between-sets moments.
Exactly one month after dancers lost jobs due to club closures and the spread of Covid-19. In response, strippers birthed a bouquet of live shows on Zoom—all with original themes and performances, games, prizes, and a dynamic cast of dancers from LA, NYC, Chicago, Berlin, and London. Pandemic Peepshow Art Book showcases, commemorates and documents the wild creativity that existed during the pandemic demonstrating the collective power sex workers performed as a demonstration of defiance, community care, economic survival, and love of the dance.
