“May our kisses not be afraid because they have been afraid before” was a publication that, in 2018, brought together graphic and literary works by maric45 in the southern region of this continent. In 2021, the open call was launched again to revisit that particular focus in this context. Unfortunately, like any project that seeks to be independent, self-managed, and sustainable, it took some time to be brought to fruition.
“May our kisses not be afraid because they have been afraid before II” includes graphic and literary works by more than 60 maric4s and was produced in 2023 in three parts that reflect the archive of our bodies, memory, the fiction we can build based on imposed reality, and denunciations of oppression.
Each publication consists of 50 pages printed on 80 gsm bookcel paper — inkjet interior and a two-color risograph cover.
