Published monthly by SWISH Publications, Madame in a World of Fantasy was an underground fetish magazine dedicated to the appreciation of the dominant woman. First printed in London in 1974, each issue included: the "Madame of the Month," Mrs. Candida's command column for lonely hearts, original poetry, photoshoots, drawings, and personal responses.

SWISH Publications had several run-ins with the police over the years and operated a shop in Soho Square, at 8 Greek Street, W1, where they sold magazines, books, and videos.
